About Leslie Moore, Interior Designer
Color and Light Interiors
The business name of Color and LIght Interiors
was created from the philosophy that the most
simple way to change your interior environment
is with color and natural light. Whether for
your home, office, business or commercial space
these two design elements create beautiful, high
fashion rooms which you will love and which
create your own unique image for your interior
spaces.
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area with my
mother, Alice Neiman Moore, ASID Interior
Designer - Engineer as my teacher my love and
passion for design was created. Watching her
work at her drafting board drawing house plans
with beautiful lines of colors and detail.
Samples of fabric, wallpaper, a library of paint
colors, books of furniture and accessories,
magazines of art were all part of my environment
growing up. My dreams and vision of becoming an
Interior Designer all began at home.
Early in my career my love of travel and
learning about other cultures art, customs and
lifestyles created my interest in studying world
trends in design. This has given me a gift for
combining unique, exotic fabrics, art,
accessories and colors from a variety of
cultures and time periods for the homes and
office spaces of my clients creating
cosmopolitan rooms of elegant and classic style.
